This short video covers the item upload and registration procedure – see what we mean by ‘30 seconds to found’.
The Zero Burden Service Process
ZBS is a cutting edge total Lost and Found solution which allows organisations like yours to handle any lost property turned in to you quickly, effectively, ethically and without a drain on your resources, space or productivity.
How It Works...
Step 0. You Sign...No More Worries. Ever. & We Pay You.
The Zero Burden Service is simple for you. The cost of repatriation is borne by the property’s rightful owner - or you can offer this to them. In fact, you’ll save money as less time, effort and space need be devoted to Lost and Found contact & storage.
Step 1. Item Registration
Found items are photographed with any smart phone running our app and a quick description logged in. This process literally takes around 30 seconds, even for new users of the system.
Step 2. Item Storage and ZBS Pick-Up
Simply drop the item into the secure pick-up container we provide. Our carefully vetted and highly trained couriers will seal the container securely and take it to our storage facility, leaving you with an empty container up to 3 times each week.
Step 3. Item Return
If anyone asks after a lost item simply refer them to the www.yourzbs.com website. We’ll repatriate the item safely and securely for a small fee, payable by the owner or you can offer this to them. Note that our item repatriation rate is as high as 97%, much higher than traditional lost and found rates!
Step 4. Recycling of Unclaimed Items
Any items which remain unclaimed and unidentifiable will be disposed of ethically. In many cases this means repairing or refurbishing them and selling them at auction Other items will be upcycled or otherwise disposed of safely and ethically. If any profit is to be realised from the sale or disposal of unclaimed items turned in to your location, your organisation will be paid a share of those profits.
